ACREL AKH-0.66S S-40i Dual-Winding Current Transformer is a system monitoring current transformer for measuring AC current in electrical installations. It features a 40 x 10 mm busbar opening and supports primary current configurations from 200 A to 600 A, with 5 A or 1 A secondary current and 20 mA output configurations available.

The ACREL AKH-0.66S S-40i Dual-Winding Current Transformer is a system monitoring current transformer intended to provide current measurement signals for electrical monitoring equipment.

The transformer is installed around the conductor or busbar being monitored. The primary conductor passes through the transformer, allowing the current to be measured without directly connecting the monitoring circuit to the primary current path.

For the S-40I version, Acrel specifies a 40 x 10 mm busbar size and a maximum cable outer diameter of 30 mm. The manufacturer provides several primary current configurations from 200 A through to 600 A.

        How it works

        • The primary conductor passes through the current transformer.
        • The transformer converts the primary AC current into a corresponding secondary measurement signal.
        • Depending on the selected configuration, the secondary output is specified as 5 A or 1 A with a 20 mA signal.
        • The output can be connected to compatible monitoring or measurement equipment.

        Why choose this product

        • Designed specifically for electrical system monitoring.
        • Available across several primary current ratios.
        • Provides both conventional secondary current and 20 mA output configurations.
        • The 40 x 10 mm opening accommodates the specified busbar size.
        • Suitable for integration with compatible current monitoring equipment.

        Benefits

        • Allows electrical current to be monitored without directly placing measurement equipment in the primary current circuit.
        • Supports different current monitoring requirements through multiple available ratios.
        • Provides a compact measurement component for electrical monitoring systems.
        • Can be used with compatible monitoring and measurement equipment.
