ACREL AKH-0.66S S-200ii Dual-Winding Current Transformer
ACREL AKH-0.66S S-200ii Dual-Winding Current Transformer is a dual-winding current transformer for high-current measurement and remote monitoring. It supports primary current ratios from 2000 A to 6300 A, with configurations using 5 A or 1 A measurement outputs and a 0.02 A remote measurement output. The S-200II accommodates 100 x 10 mm busbars with 2 to 6 bars and is intended for applications including motor protection circuits and electrical monitoring systems.
The ACREL AKH-0.66S S-200ii Dual-Winding Current Transformer is part of Acrel's dual-winding current transformer range. The transformer has two secondary windings, allowing the device to serve both conventional current measurement and remote monitoring functions.
The first secondary winding is intended for current indication and is available with a rated secondary current of AC 5 A or AC 1 A. The second winding provides a 0.02 A output for remote measurement and can be used with compatible monitoring equipment such as Acrel ARTU-M32 remote measurement units or ARD3 motor protection equipment.
The S-200II configuration is designed for higher primary currents. Acrel specifies ratios from 2000 A through to 6300 A, depending on the selected configuration. The transformer uses a 100 x 10 mm busbar arrangement with 2 to 6 bars.
How it works
- The primary conductor or busbars pass through the current transformer.
- The transformer converts the primary current into a corresponding secondary current for measurement.
- The first secondary winding provides an AC 5 A or AC 1 A measurement output, depending on the selected configuration.
- The second secondary winding provides a 0.02 A output for remote current measurement.
- The two secondary windings allow measurement and remote monitoring functions to be handled separately.
