ACREL AKH-0.66 P-50ii Protection Current Transformer
ACREL AKH-0.66 P-50ii Protection Current Transformer is a protection current transformer for low-voltage electrical protection systems. It provides current sensing for protection applications and is available with rated current ratios from 250 to 600 A and a 5 A or 1 A secondary. The P-50II has a 10P10 accuracy class, 2.5 VA rated burden and a 52 x 32 mm through opening.
The ACREL AKH-0.66 P-50ii Protection Current Transformer is designed to collect current signals in low-voltage protection systems. The transformer can be used with protection relays and motor protection equipment to provide the current signal required for detecting abnormal current conditions.
For the P-50II model, Acrel specifies rated current ratios from 250 to 600 A with a 5 A or 1 A secondary, a 10P10 accuracy class and a 2.5 VA rated burden. The transformer has an 87 x 113 x 45 mm overall size and a 52 x 32 mm through opening.
How it works
- The primary conductor passes through the current transformer's opening.
- The transformer converts the primary current into a corresponding secondary current signal.
- The secondary signal can be connected to suitable protection equipment for current detection and protection functions.
- The P-50II configuration is intended for protection applications rather than general-purpose current measurement.
Why choose this product
- Designed specifically for low-voltage protection applications.
- Supports several rated current ratios from 250 to 600 A.
- Provides a 10P10 protection accuracy class.
- Compact 50-series construction with a 52 x 32 mm through opening.
- Suitable for integration with protection relays and motor protection equipment where the specified secondary configuration is appropriate.
Benefits
- Provides an isolated current signal for protection equipment.
- Supports overload and short-circuit current detection.
- Offers a defined protection accuracy class for protection circuit applications.
- The through-opening design allows the primary conductor to pass through the transformer without requiring the transformer to form part of the primary circuit.
