This multi-channel DC string monitoring meter is purpose-built for solar PV systems, providing accurate measurement of individual string currents and system voltage within combiner box installations.
Designed for use in medium to large-scale solar arrays, the unit supports monitoring of multiple PV strings simultaneously, allowing operators to identify underperforming panels, detect faults, and optimise system efficiency. Each channel measures DC current using isolated Hall effect sensing, ensuring safe and reliable operation in high-voltage environments.
The device also measures DC bus voltage up to 1500V, making it suitable for modern high-voltage solar installations. Real-time data is displayed via an integrated LCD screen and can be transmitted to external systems via RS485 Modbus-RTU for integration into SCADA, BMS, or cloud platforms such as ProSight.
Its compact design supports DIN rail or panel mounting, making it easy to integrate into existing combiner boxes without significant space requirements. Additional features such as internal temperature monitoring provide valuable insight into enclosure conditions and system health.
