This multi-channel DC energy meter is designed for monitoring multiple photovoltaic (PV) strings within solar combiner boxes and DC distribution systems. Engineered for high-voltage environments up to 1500V DC, it enables accurate measurement of individual string currents and overall system voltage, providing critical visibility into solar array performance.
The unit supports up to 24 independent DC measurement channels, allowing detailed monitoring of string-level performance for fault detection, imbalance analysis, and maintenance optimisation. Integrated Hall-effect sensing ensures electrical isolation and safe current measurement without direct conductive contact.
With RS485 communication using Modbus RTU protocol, the device integrates seamlessly into SCADA systems, data loggers, and energy management platforms, enabling real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and performance analysis.
Designed for installation within PV combiner boxes, the system supports both DIN rail mounting and panel installation, making it suitable for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar applications.
