This single-phase bidirectional energy meter is purpose-built for accurate monitoring of power flow in solar PV and grid-connected systems. It enables real-time measurement of both energy import and export, making it ideal for applications such as solar self-consumption monitoring, load balancing, and anti-export control.
The unit measures key electrical parameters including voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, and frequency. It provides cumulative energy tracking in both directions, allowing users to clearly understand energy usage versus generation.
Designed for flexibility, the meter operates with external current transformers, supporting a wide range of current capacities depending on CT selection. This allows it to be deployed across residential, commercial, and light industrial solar installations.
Communication is handled via RS485 Modbus-RTU, enabling seamless integration into SCADA systems, building management systems (BMS), or cloud platforms such as ProSight. The integrated LCD display provides clear on-site visibility of system performance.
